Welcome to my adventure journal, a photographic collection of my journey through the Canadian Rocky Mountains. As my love for photography continued to grow, I wanted to create an archive of my memories. Included are (hopefully) helpful beta for fellow gumbys looking for new ways to explore the great outdoors.
I grew up biking, camping, and having picnics in the mountains. I never considered myself as an outdoorsy person but I always enjoyed our trips to the mountains. Eventually, I hit a rough patch and found myself heading back there. What started as an escape quickly changed everything and became a part of me. These days I can't imagine life without the mountains.
From one gumby to another, we all start somewhere. I can only hope that people can draw inspiration from these trips. This could be new photography ideas, trying new routes, or simply wanting to get outside. Every adventure starts with the first step.
