Patrick spent as much effort polishing his Street Fighter 5 skills as I did in completing this portrait for him. Specializing in the daughter of a Yakuza family, he wanted a pose that demonstrated the same strength as her fighting style and her syndicate. Bold colours and depth draw your eyes into her gaze and martial arts mastery.

Originally from the bustling Tokyo area, Kyoko was interested in a stylized portrait that captured the same speed and energy with which she lived her life. Recalling a memory from her coming of age ceremony, we aimed to incorporate her Kimono and a national symbol of Japan into the composition.
